Bathrooms Rebuilt Right, Down to the Studs
Full bathroom remodels from demo to the last piece of trim, with waterproofing behind the tile that will still be doing its job in ten years.
The tile you see is not what keeps water out of the wall. The membrane and the shower pan behind it are, and that is where a bathroom either lasts or fails. A shower can look perfect at the walkthrough and be growing mold inside the wall two winters later. We build the waterproofing, framing and ventilation like they're the finished product, then the tile and fixtures go on top.
Waterproofing first
We work with Schluter waterproofing systems: a proper pan, membrane on the walls, sealed corners and a flood test before any tile goes down. The exhaust fan gets sized for the room and vented outside, because a fan that can't keep up is how paint peels and mold starts. None of this is visible when the bathroom is done. All of it is why it stays done.
Layout and fixtures
Moving plumbing is often worth it: a tub to a walk in shower, a bigger vanity, a toilet that isn't jammed against the door. Curbless showers, niches, bench seats, heated floors and better lighting all happen at this stage. Electrical is brought to code with GFCI protection and a dedicated fan circuit where needed.
What the job looks like
Demo, rough plumbing and electrical, inspection, waterproofing, tile, fixtures, trim. Where the house has a second bathroom we keep it working the whole time. If something behind the wall changes the scope, we show you and price it before touching it. The finished bathroom gets a walkthrough with you before we call it done.

What does a bathroom remodel cost?
The biggest drivers are whether plumbing moves, tile choices and how much of the room is being rebuilt. A tub to shower conversion in the same footprint costs a lot less than relocating everything. We measure the room, talk through what you want, and give you a written itemized quote.
How long will I be without a bathroom?
A full remodel runs a few weeks from demo to finished, with the waterproofing and tile stages taking the most time. If the house has another bathroom we keep it working throughout. The schedule is in the quote.
Can you keep the existing layout?
Yes. Keeping the plumbing where it is saves money and time. We'll tell you if moving something would make a real difference, but it's your call.
What about mold behind the wall?
If we open a wall and find it, we deal with it before closing anything up. Our owner also runs a licensed mold remediation company, so it gets handled properly rather than painted over.
Do you do just the shower?
Yes. Shower rebuilds are a common job for us, and the waterproofing gets the same treatment whether the rest of the bathroom is touched or not.
